About Williamson Library

On January 9, 2014, the formerly named SCC Library was dedicated and renamed Williamson Library in memory of Arthur W. Williamson, Sr., who donated the original tract of land for the formation of Southeastern Community College. Located between the Nesmith Student Center and the Child Development Center (H-Building), the Williamson Library opened in L-Building in 1986 and offers a variety of information resources and services for students, faculty and staff, and the general public.

Our mission is to provide library resources, services, technologies, instruction, and assistance to meet the informational and research needs of the College community; support the College’s mission and programs; and promote lifelong learning.
